Drop-In Classes

Drop in classes do not require enrollment but they do require your dog to have graduated Level 3 of the Group Classes, have completed the Day Training or Boarding School program, or have been evaluated by a Performance Canine, Inc. trainer. Payment of $10 is due at the beginning of each session unless otherwise noted. Class participation is limited to 6 people at this time.

AKC Novice Drop-In Class

Join us Tuesdays at 6:30 pm for our AKC Obedience Drop-In Class! You and your dog will learn all the behaviors required in the AKC obedience ring to earn your CD: Companion Dog title. From figure eights to recalls and finishes our instructors have the experience to help you and your dog achieve your titling goals!

1st Tuesday of the month: Heeling with Halts and About Turns
2nd Tuesday of the month: Heeling with Fast/Slow Paces and Left and Right Turns, Figure 8
3rd Tuesday of the month: Stand for Examination, Recall, Finishes
4th Tuesday of the month: Handler Training – How to enter a trial, proper conduct at a trial, tips and tricks for handling your dog in the obedience ring

Protection Drop-In Class

These classes meet Tuesdays at 7:00 pm and are geared toward preparing your dog for competitive Schutzhund protection work. Dogs quickly progress from working with a group of other dogs to individualized training tailored to their needs. All classes will either begin or end with instruction on how to properly continue the training at home.

Search and Rescue Drop-In Class

Enjoy spending time outdoors with your dog? Does your dog love their ball, toy or food? Our SAR Drop-In Class may be the perfect fit for you! This class focuses on the dog training aspects of Search and Rescue. Humans should come prepared for running in various terrain and dogs should come prepared to have a blast!

Thursdays at 7:00 pm or when the Competitive Schutzhund Tracking Drop-In Class is over.

This class is held on private property in Wilsonville. Please call for directions.

Competitive Schutzhund Tracking Drop-In Class

Tracking for Schutzhund is very precise and is scored on a 100 point scale. Learn how to train your dog to keep a consistent pace with a nose deep into the track with our Competitive Schutzhund Tracking Drop-In Class.
