AKC Obedience Titling

AKC Obedience Titling tests a dog and handler’s ability to work together while performing precision maneuvers and exercises. The Judge looks at each team that enters the ring and scores them based on how they perform each and every exercise.

The American Kennel Club offers obedience titles in levels; beginning with Novice, then Open, and finally Utility. Dogs must achieve three qualifying scores in each level to achieve their title before continuing.

Performance Canine specializes in AKC Obedience training. We have titled and coached hundreds of winning dog and handler teams to every level of AKC Obedience. Whether your goal is simply to achieve a title with your pet or to win blue ribbons, we can help. With our Titling Service, we can train and title your dog for you! This appeals to many people who lack the time or who don’t have the expertise to do the training themselves. Your dog will stay with us and learn everything they need to know to pass to the level of titling you desire.

Join us for our Drop-In AKC Obedience Class! Students in this class must have graduated from one of our other training programs, passed Level 3 of our Group Classes or pass an evaluation with one of our trainers. Training, handling, and show prep are taught for Novice through Utility. Our facility allows us to create actual show experiences for you and your dog and prepare them with AKC regulation equipment.  Classes are held both indoor and outdoor.

Private lessons are another way for those of you interested in learning how to train competitively. You will receive individual instruction for you and your dog. From training to handling your dog in the ring, we will help you progress through all desired levels of AKC Obedience.
