Rosco
Rosco is a wonderful, wiggly Bulldog here to learn how to be nice to other dogs.
From Morgan:
Rosco came to Performance Canine for a couple of reasons.
1. He would pick and choose when he would come when he was called.
2. He was having some issues with dog aggression. After a couple days of training Rosco was doing great on coming when he was called, but there wasn’t much progress going on with the dog aggression. I started to think that this dog might need more time. Then a weird and wonderful thing happened: Max. Max is a 14 week old Bulldog that was looking for a new home. Max came to stay in my home with me during Rosco’s stay and it was love at first sight…or lick…for Rosco. Next thing I knew, they were wrestling on the floor, chasing each other around and basically just having a blast. The next day during Rosco’s training sessions I noticed something very odd: No more dog aggression. None. I’ve rehabilitated plenty of dogs with aggression issues and I have never once seen a dog have such an “overnight” change in their entire demeanor. I’m sure I could write a 10 page paper on the canine psychology behind this occurrence, but I prefer to think of it as: How Max cured Rosco.
